-Marina-
Ahhhhh Marina, how adorable she is. This photo shoot was a bit exhausting. She was FULL of energy! being just shy of 2 I knew what I was getting into when I got there 😉 . She was laughing then crying, then running and climbing, she was playing and hiding, and throwing and screaming, she was stubborn then easy going. She wouldn’t sit in front of the Tree, but then again wouldn’t any 2 year old do the same thing…. Her mom had given up hope on getting any good photos of her. BUT…she did… not only was she happy with the many photos, but was excited that we captured all the “faces” of Marina. She is so adorable we ended up with almost 100 photos. I think that was a good days work 🙂 Love The Shoes!!!!
Of course I had to get a few pics of the dog too!

Christmas Is My Favorite Time Of The Year!
I LOVE Christmas! It’s the only holiday where I go crazy decorating, it takes me 3 days to decorate just the inside of my house. My husband does the outside and he can normally get it done in a day. I have always loved it, and have collected ornaments for as long as I can remember. For every occasion I’d pick out an ornaments. Every vacation, every milestone in my life, my engagement, my wedding, my new house, my pregnancies, my kids first day of school. EVERYTHING! I have over 1,100 ornaments on my tree! Not one branch in empty, some branches even have 2 ornaments, and I have a 9′ huge tree. At this point I have also gotten mini trees for my kids rooms, and some ornaments have moved there I may have to get a forth tree!! 🙂 Anyway I was bored one day and started taking pictures….
She is such a cutie… :)
This is my niece she is such a cuteee, we had so much fun doing this shoot. She is all business when it comes to the camera, being a dancer and on stage all the time she is use to getting her photo taken. She wants to be in and out as soon a s possible… Love all these shots of her- I’m sure her parents will love them too. How can they not 🙂 I think she is done! LOL

Toughest photo-shoot EVER!
So they say a photographer NEVER has pictures of their own families…. This is SO TRUE! It is so much easier and and rewarding to take photos of other families -we are very patient when it’s not our own kids!
My kids (and husband) will not let me take pictures of them…EVER. I think they are so tired of me having a camera in my hands at all times, that they run when they see me coming with that look on my face 🙂 So I rarely ever even try anymore….however Christmas time is a different story. It took weeks for me to coax my kids into letting me take pictures for a Christmas card. I had to promise all sorts of things just to get them to come into the room where the Christmas tree is. Then once they got there all they wanted to do was escape and go about their merry way.
The only one in the family that does not seem to mind is the dog, I believe he actually enjoys posing for photos. Or as my husband seems to think he may be too scared by my aggravated demeanor to misbehave! Whatever the case, he sits or lays down where ever I ask him too and waits patiently -while the kids make faces, argue, complain and give me “fake” smiles. (As you will see in the photos) He is smart enough to realize the quicker everyone listens the quicker we can be done. I wish he could explain this to my lovely boys.
Anyway after almost 2 hours and a lot of aggravation and some yelling I managed to get a few shots for the Christmas card…. The cards went out really late this year, maybe next year I should start this major project in September. 😉
